Meet The Cast

There was a rehearsal dinner emergency and Blanche Magnolia Beauregard was born.  Over the last thirty years Blanche has been on the radio, the star of mystery dinner theatre and had many personal appearances.  Her alter ego, Jo Ellen, is a singer/songwriter, graphic designer, writer and bonafide late bloomer.  Besides being one half of the musical duo Lizzie Street, her day job is wrangling a pack of canines--Lucy, Ace, and Ruby.

Dan Burnevik’s proper introduction to live theater began during his freshman year of high school; playing parts in popular musicals like Grease, Godspell, Guys & Dolls and West Side Story. Dan continued pursuing acting in college, graduating with a BA in theater arts from the University of Montana in Missoula. Dan is one half of the musical duo Lizzie Street and has been on the Austin music scene for almost thirty years as a singer/songwriter and guitarist.  He shares three sweet and raffish dogs--Lucy, Ace, and Ruby---with his bride, Jo Ellen.

Dru Miers is a director/producer/songwriter based in Austin, Texas. He attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Radio, Television, and Film. While a student, Dru directed and produced several short films both in and outside of the classroom all while interning at production companies in the Austin area. In the Spring of 2020, he took his final semester in Los Angeles as part of the University of Texas UTLA program. For the past two years, Dru has worked on a several different reality TV series including “Storage Wars” and “Jersey Shore Family Vacation.” He currently works as a full time editor at Backroads Entertainment.

Miranda has a Bachelors in Theatre from the University of North Texas and a Masters in Organizational Leadership from Woodbury University. She's appeared in various professional stage productions and has worked in TV and Film. Her last stage role was playing the White Queen in Looking Glass Land with the West Valley Playhouse. On her last film, M.A.R.R.A., Miranda not only had a lead role, but also served as the stunt coordinator. She has a black belt in Tae Kwon Do and Shotokan Karate. She and her husband own a martial arts studio in Cedar Park, The Mat Martial Arts. Currently, Miranda is a Portfolio Manager with Waterloo Associates, where she manages leasing, maintenance, rehabs for properties in 11 states. She also has a 6 year old daughter, Rosalind. 

Les has been involved with theatre in some capacity for over 50 years. Whether in church, in school, in little theatre or film of late, Les loves a good story and a good character. Rex Dodger is that guy who had to make it big to feel good about himself. All anyone sees is his confidence, but he’s learned to play the role of major player very well, he loves how people look at him, and he loves how it makes him feel. It doesn’t hurt that he’s always the smartest guy in the room as well.

Leslie is an accountant by education and experience but an actress at heart. She is involved in her church's Nativity play, the "Bethlehem Village" that is staged at the Christmas Stroll each year.  She's also part of a singing group called Natural Blend.  She has three grown sons, two daughters-in-law and one daughter-in-lawmost. She lives in Hutto TX.

Shelley is a born and raised Texan and is proud to call Georgetown home. She is a mortgage advisor for Fairway and very passionate about helping clients achieve their goal of home ownership. She's also a great promoter of all things local.  If not on the Square, you can find her with her family--her three kids and three precious grandkids--or enjoying time with friends. 

Joe Farris is an actor in Austin Texas known for "I've Got Issues" and "Through the Looking Glass".  He came into acting by way of his insurance agency.  Once he started insuring movie productions, he figured he better have an understanding of the process.  That led to acting classes which led to roles and a true enjoyment of the process.  

Mike Allen is a mostly confused, often distracted and is labeled by local guvment as a "person of interest".  Ex-cop, combat vet, all around master of all things BBQ.  He has been Blanche's self-appointed bodyguard for many years.  Mike is currently filming outside of San Antonio.
